The software is sometimes distributed under different names, such as 'Virtual DJ - Atomix. Details: Excellent sound design, just like the PLX-1000 the PLX-500 is built to produce a high-quality vinyl sound. The most popular versions among the software users are 8.5, 8.4 and 8.2. Just download the free Mac- and PC-compatible Audacity recording software (or software of your choice) and start converting your records to digital audio files.
